Tunnel Vision.

Second Year Uni Project | 10 weeks | 2024 An industry collaboration project with Coalesse- (A steelcase owned office furniture company.) Overall Brief: Design a product to humanise worklife. Personal Brief: How might we create a new office social experience in order to encourage meaningul connections between employees and humanise work life? An office tunnel complete with furniture designed to humanise the mundane experience of using office amenities, such as the printer, by creating a moment of meaningful connection between colleagues.

Social Experiment

In order to test out wether I should created a physical tunnel or a zone, I held a social experiement. I created a basic tunnel enviroment around the printers at uni and observed how people reacted to it and with each other when inside.
