Product Description
A Foodiboo goes where you go, play with it, feed it and keep it alive.
AI technology allows for children to verbally feed their Foodiboo.
The Foodiboo then gives verbal feedback based on the meal it was fed.
This feedback is complimented by a digital video shown through the Foodiboo's belly.
Children then use the information received to feed their Foodiboo healthier meals in the future helping them to learn what balanced meals consist of so that they can make improvements in their own diets.
When Foodiboo's are consistently fed unhealthy food they gradually become sick so children learn about the connection between good nutrition and overall health.
A heartbeat can be felt to understand the health status of the Foodiboo.
LED lights turn red to warn children that their pet is critically ill.

Design Language: Visuals for video feedback

When it comes to food the language used to describe and educate children is crucial. It is important not to label food as 'bad' or 'wrong' so that kids do not grow up and develop a negative relationship with food and unhealthy eating habits. This is why the feedback offered by Foodiboo, does not catergorise food into 'good' and 'bad'  it does not portary any food group to be better then another, instead provding nutritional facts and explaining that some food groups should be consumed in larger quanities for nutritional benefit. Foodiboo will never tell you that sweets, chocolates or other 'unhealthy' foods are bad, Foodiboo will instead admit that they enjoyed the tasty treat, and will even recomend these as part of a healthy diet if they are missing from it's diet for a substaintial period of time. However if the same 'unhealthy' foods keep being fed to Foodiboo, it will explain the lack of nutrional benefits and offer advice on alternatives so that children can switch up their diets and explore new foods.
