Brief
Olsam’s brand Coninx had not seen any new product development for the past 5 years. I was tasked with creating a new product range that would sit alongside the exiting product line. The Coninx magnetic Knife strip is one of the products in the new range and is now on sale on Amazon EU marketplaces with all 5 star reviews.

Concept
A multifunctional kitchen essential designed to maximise space and keep tools organised, it features strong magnetic zones across the front and centre, securely holding up to 12 knives. Attached discreetly to the side of the strip is a compact handheld knife sharpener that magnetically locks into place, maintaining a streamlined, cohesive look when not in use. When sharpening is needed, the sharpener detaches and sits on the countertop, allowing knives to glide safely through the two integrated sharpening slots. These dual blades are colour-coded and numbered for clarity: grey (1) for sharpening and white (2) for honing.

The range consists of solar planters comprising of semi circle and hexagonal silhouettes that can be tessellated to create stunning visual wall displays. Available in gold and black colourways. Solar bird feeders and a solar windchime. All currently on sale on amazon EU marketplaces.
